Part 2 : Increasing The Value Of Each Sale
Strategies for increasing the value of each sale is another way that is so easy to make use of but so many businesses simply don’t bother.
In internet marketing, this strategy is almost always in place with anybody who claims to know what they are doing, usually since it is incredibly easy to implement and track.
With offline businesses it may be a bit more difficult but its certainly worth implementing if you are serious about increasing revenue.
We are going to look at:
1. Testing the initial offer price. Pricing is a complicated topic but its really easy to constantly test your offer price until you find the highest price you can offer, that does not noticeably reduce your purchase rate.
2. Bundling products allows you to increase the value of your purchase by giving the impression you are offering more value for a lower price then if customers purchased products individually.
3. Upsells allow you to offer an upgrade or increased quantity on your initial offer AFTER the customer has already decided to purchase. Making the upgrade easy can easily result in 30% and greater of customers going with the upgraded version.
4. Bulk Discounts, a common one, once again give the perception of increased value for lower cost.
